Webinar China’s New Data Protection Law: Landscaping & Common Practice

Location:
Dates: 10:00-11:00

Data protection laws are fast evolving in China.  In addition to the existing Cybersecurity Law (“CSL”), the Data Security Law (“DSL”) and the Personal Information Protection Law (“PIPL”) promulgated in 2021 have completed the legal framework in China in the data domain.  The laws act as cornerstones for China’s digitalization economy and may lead to severe legal consequences if violated.

The webinar will introduce the three pillar laws and the relevant ancillary regulations to Israeli companies doing business in China.  More importantly, it will shed lights on the common practice of foreign companies in reaction to the recent legislations, to help the companies stay in line with the laws.
